On Friday, July 23rd, hundreds of Florida’s healthcare union members will gather together for the first time as members of 1199SEIU Florida Region to:

• Celebrate our new future as 1199SEIU members,

Participate in trainings like: building worksite power; professional development and the impact of healthcare reform on our profession.

Officially swear in 1199SEIU delegates, member leaders of our union.

• On Saturday, July 24th, launch SEIU’s statewide effort to elect candidates who advocate for healthcare professionals and our patients.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
One day lost time will be provided for only those members who participate on Friday and Saturday.

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited. No child care will be provided for this weekend of training. Transportation and Friday night overnight accommodations for everyone traveling from outside of Palm Beach will be provided. Mileage will not be provided.

Union member’s dues will cover the cost of this conference. Therefore, only union members may attend. It’s not too late to join. To reserve a space, complete the registration form, submit a $10 refundable deposit and return to your union representative or mail to your union office by Monday, July 12 to: 14645 NW 77 Ave, Suite 201, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. Checks are preferred, but money orders or cash are accepted.
